Still Time to Apply for Grant Funding!

The current funding round for the Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund main grant scheme is open until 31st January 2017 so there is still time to submit an application to benefit your group.

The main grant scheme offers funding up to £7,000 for projects from constituted groups from the £46,000 that the fund receives each year from the Carraig Gheal Wind Farm developer GreenPower Carraig Gheal.

There have been numerous successful applications to date that have resulted in benefits to the local communities; such as the replacing and updating of the electric wiring in the Dalavich Community Centre, repairs to polytunnels and equipment for Lorn Organic Growers, solar panels installed on Kilmelford and Kilninver Village Hall and others including Dalmally Golf Club, Bridge of Orchy Hall and Glenorchy and Innishail Community Orchard and Woodland Garden.
